Now a days people are attracted to the eye catching Fast food. The greatest disadvantage of fast food is the adverse effect that it has on one’s health. It is a fact that fast food is unhealthy, as they contain higher amounts of unwanted nutrients like salt, fat and various types of additives (artificial chemicals). It may contain harmful bacteria too. So we are gaining too much of weight. Then, rushing towards the gyms and fitness centers with tasteless green salads to get back to their previous figures and fitness.

To avoid those both extreme levels of food habit, we should change our choice. The choice of food must be healthy, tasty and quick as well. In that manner, let us try one of the famous and easy Indian dish.

Cheese Chapatti (Indian flat bread)

Ingredients (4 Servings)

  • 1 Cup of Whole Wheat Flour
  • Any type of cheese as needed
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt / as needed
  • 2 Teaspoon Olive Oil.
  • ¾ lukewarm water / as needed

Direction

Step 1: First of all, in the large sized bowl put the Whole Wheat flour (don’t worry, you can find it in Indian shop Zürich/Indian supermarket/Indian shop Geneva/Online Indian grocery/Online Indian shop/Indian shop near me https://indiasupermarkt.ch/en/product/whole-wheat-flour/) and salt together and mix it well. Then add the olive oil and lukewarm water to make a soft dough that is elastic but not sticky. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until it is smooth. Cover and keep it for 10 minutes. And scrub the cheese and keep it aside.

Step 2: Heat a pan over medium flame. Meanwhile on a lightly floured surface, use a floured rolling pin to roll out the balls of dough until very thin like a tortilla. Next, while pan starts to smoke put the rolled mix. Once one side is cooked, pour the cheese on the other side of Chapatti and cover the pan with a lid for 30 seconds. Then, fold it. the delicious cheese chapatti is ready to serve.
