Most sinus infections will resolve themselves in seven to 10 days, just by taking care of yourself at home. Those who say that they solve any sinus infection within 24 hours are definitely lying. It’s unlikely that you can get rid of the infection in 24 hours, however, you may be able to relieve most of the signs and symptoms within this time period.

So, getting rid of most symptoms such as forehead pressure and runny is definitely possible in 24 hours and in the lines below I will reveal my home method for sinus relief.

You’ll need the following materials: a large bowlwaterkettletowel1 tablespoon of Vicks Vapo Rub

Here’s the process:

Heat up the water until it touches the boiling point. Carefully pour the hot water into the bowl. Add the Vicks Vapo Rub tablespoon and stir until it melts. Drape the towel over the back of your head. Turn on a timer. Shut your eyes and slowly lower your head toward the hot water until you’re about 8 to 12 inches away from the water. Be extremely careful to avoid making direct contact with the water. Inhale slowly and deeply through your nose for at least two to five minutes.

Your nose will unclog and slowly the sinus pressure will be relieved. But, before going to bed, you must take a sinus relief bath using the following ingredients:

1 cup of Epsom salt1/2 cup of a baking soda mason jar or airtight containerPeppermint essential oils eucalyptus Radiata essential oils

Mix the baking soda and Epsom salt together. Once it’s mixed, add in the food coloring if you’re going to complete that step. All this does is make it look colorful, otherwise, it will be white.

Then add 5 drops of peppermint oil and 10 drops of eucalyptus oil. Mix it all up, and put it in a jar. Now you have this ready to go when you feel congested and all-around icky. Just draw a warm bath and put a couple of scoops of this in with the water. You will definitely enjoy a good night sleep and feel better in the morning.—
